The following commands helped me install source code pro font on Kubuntu 18.04.
1 2 3 | [ -d /usr/share/fonts/opentype ] || sudo mkdir /usr/share/fonts/opentype sudo git clone https://github.com/adobe-fonts/source-code-pro.git /usr/share/fonts/opentype/scp sudo fc-cache -f -v |
I prefer adobe’s source code pro as the font on my IDE (PHPStorm).
